Whether your passion is Interior Design, Fashion, Crafts or Art observing and respecting other creative disciplines is an important learning curve and experience for any designer.
British fashion design has long held its head high, amidst the dizzy and fancy world of fashion, producing designers such as Zandra Rhodes, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander Mcqueen and Stella Mccartney.
The V&A Museum are currently celebrating the reopening of their newly renovated fashion gallery with a stunning exhibition on Ballgowns: British Glamour since 1950.

The exhibition covers sixty years of a strong British design influence that is continuing to flourish and develop today.
The dresses shown in the gallery are mostly couture pieces, handmade for a particular client, using the finest fabrics, intricate work and finish demonstrating the great skill of many British designers.
