David Nash Sculpture

Finding inspiration and feeding the creative soul is an integral part of any designer’s journey.  We are fortunate in this country to be able to enjoy a prolific selection of museums, galleries, country houses and gardens, providing endless stimulation and pleasure.

David Nash, one of the UK’s most creative sculptors, is exhibiting his work at Kew Gardens from April to September 2012. The exhibition includes sculptures, installations, drawings and film in place throughout the Gardens, glasshouses and exhibition spaces.

In a career spanning 40 years, Nash has gained a deep understanding of the properties of trees carving sculptures from wood, many of them monumental in scale.  Nash’s sculpture invites you to reflect on your relationship with nature in the majestic surroundings of Kew Gardens where you can also enjoy the beauty, tranquillity and wonder of beautiful landscape and an outstanding living collection of plants, all year round.
